Turners Cleaning and Support Services prides itself on continual improvement and being innovative in our service.

As part of this commitment, we have a sophisticated system in place, which controls and records all site staff attendance. It is important that the system is simple to use so that all operatives can easily 'clock in and out' of their cleaning shift.

This system has proved itself to be a major asset in providing our service. We now use the system for many other reasons as well, like payroll, performance reviews, training and many more.

At some stage throughout the contract duration, it is inevitable that there will be the need for absence cover and in some cases emergency work. With regard to this crucial issue, which requires a rapid response, this new system is designed to automatically inform the contractor of absence on site and the times at which operatives arrive and leave.

'Staffcheck' alerts the Management and Relief Team to absence on site, before the Client is aware. This way the Contractor has a greater opportunity to ensure the specification is fulfilled and to minimise any inconvenience to the Client.

How does it work?

Using a telephone freephone number (paid for by Turners Cleaning and Support Services) from our clients premises as they arrive, and then leave again, the cleaning staff simply dial and enter their individual ID codes into the Staffcheck computer system. The system cannot be abused.
